Discovering a wonderful hotel when you’re on a journey in Boston isn’t typically easy, mainly because there is so much choice! Sure, you can opt for something out of the same Boston guidebook that everyone and their sister has purchased for the past five years, but that does not mean you are going to have a very nice experience (the truth is, it would nearly guarantee a poor one!). Alternatively, it’s a good idea to do the tiniest bit of research, using your pal the Internet. Locals will invariably be aware of the best places to stay in their own city, what the best hotel rooms are, and the good days to visit their top parts of the city. However, you don’t need to be going up to everybody you meet in the airport terminal in Boston, needing their tips. So as a substitute, we’ve put together a quick listing of our 3 most-loved hotels in Boston for you. These are the ones we would suggest to our close friends when they come to visit – but because we don’t want you to think we’re just being biased, listed here are the reviews from Yelp.com:

1. Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel

I went there for a night – to get away from the city, Yes, the locations isnt that great, there arent any stores around and very few restaurants, but if you can walk 15mins, you will have all that -North End and Downtown. Now. . about the hotel….the staff is really friendly and laid back. The rooms are sooo comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and WILL go back .

Nice hotel, at a great location. Enjoyed how it was connected to the Prudential Shopping center, so you didn’t have to step outside if you didn’t want to. Basically right next door to the Boston Public Library, and only a block away from the upscale shops on Newbury street. Definitely enjoyed the beds they had too.

Rochester, NY

3.Charles Hotel
1 Bennett St
Cambridge, MA 02138

This place is great! Rack rates are quite expensive, but if you can find a good deal – it’s really worth it, especially if you’re interested in staying in Harvard Square. The location can’t be beat.
The rooms are decorately nicely and don’t have the typical hotel decor scheme. You can see the little touches that play up their academic surroundings, including some awesome art work.
The bed is amazing. Absolutely amazing. You’ll sleep like a rock.
